Welcome to Modbury
Modbury is a civil parish within South Hams District and Devon County
As part of the wider parish, the town of Modbury lies in a hollow surrounded by the rolling hills and ridges of the South Hams. It includes the Hamlets of Brownston and Shearlangstone. Modbury Town boasts a thriving community with vibrant shops, businesses and eateries. It has much to explore, including the many walks within the bounds of the parish. It is also steeped in history and holds an annual May Fair enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. It is teeming with community clubs and events. In recent years it has welcomed many new dwellings introducing a new demographic to the town. It has a thriving primary school, Anglican and Catholic Churches and a Health Centre.
