Cllr Chris Field

I moved to the area in 2020 from the Midlands after spending many holidays exploring the beautiful surroundings. Family is very important to me, and my wife and I feel fortunate to have our two sons, their wives, and our three grandchildren living nearby in Plymouth and Brixham.
Living so close to the coast, I enjoy being by the sea and love spending time on the water in our RIB boat – exploring the beaches, the stunning coastline and just generally being out in the fresh sea air.
I also enjoy amateur dramatics and am an active member of the Modbury Players as well as other local theatrical groups. I’ve had the privilege of performing in several open-air Shakespeare productions at Mothecombe, which have been amazing experiences.
Modbury is such a fantastic place to live, and I joined the local council to do my bit in helping to preserve and enhance it, ensuring it remains a wonderful community for generations to come.
